Ballapousta Cemetry Patrun 2020

January 01, 2020

Due to the present Covid19 Pandemic restrictions, sadly it will not be possible for the usual Procession and Patrun in Ballapousta with the Blessing of the Graves Ceremonies to take place this year.

Many are dressing their family graves in Ballapousta as usual and this is lovely to see. All the graves will be blessed by our Priests and Mass will be offered for all your deceased loves ones.

Because we are unable to have the annual collection for the upkeep of Ballapousta Cemetery on Patrun day this year, please consider supporting the upkeep of the cemetery via this Go Fund Me Page.

Your contributions to the upkeep of Ballapousta Cemetery is essential to maintain the very high standards. This is always a priority for the Parish and your support of the annual collection enables us to achieve this. Please be as generous as usual this year under difficult circumstances.

“We have loved them in life

Let us not forget them in death”

St Ambrose

Thank you all for your understanding, co-operation and generosity.

God, our Father,

We are brothers and sisters in Jesus your Son,

One family, in the Spirit of your love.

Bless us with the joy of love.

Make us patient and kind,

gentle and generous,

welcoming to those in need.

Help us to live your forgiveness and peace.

Protect all families with your loving care,

Especially those for whom we now pray:

[We pause and remember family members and others by name].

Increase our faith,

Strengthen our hope,

Keep us safe in your love,

Make us always grateful for the gift of life that we share.

This we ask, through Christ our Lord,

Mary, mother and guide, pray for us.

Saint Joseph, father and protector, pray for us.

Saints Joachim and Anne, pray for us.

Saints Louis and Zélie Martin, pray for us.
